Prepare to make those holiday claims
If you're a seasoned traveler and have visited most places that are popular tourist destinations, you may be finding it difficult to find somewhere different. There's no need to go down the travel agents - you've done it all before anyway and the chances of anything different turning up is pretty slim. Instead, boot up your PC and look for a company that is brimming over with ideas on where you could go on vacation. They have links to other major tour operators - should they be offering something out of the ordinary that takes your fancy - and also have guidebooks on offer. Who knows, they may have just saved the day. Accidents occur in all tourist destinations at sometime or another; and as a consequence, holiday claims are submitted by those unfortunate enough to be involved.
It is vitally important to take out travel insurance before you embark on your yearly excursion in search of the sun; unless you wish to see your savings dwindle under the strain - of what could turn out to be - ever increasing hospital bills. In most cases you will be expected to pay for any treatment and medication up front - claiming it all back (hopefully) on your return. It could take some time to come through though, as they may have to investigate all aspects of the incident. There are some companies that will pay out immediately and this is the best option should you be able to find it.
